Accepted by this church originally in 1926, our statement of faith derives from scripture the basis of what we believe.

Church Membership
The Bible shows the local church as a group of people committed to fellowshipping and worshipping together.
And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.
– Acts 2:42
As the family of God, our relationships with each other should represent the same sort of mutual commitment that a healthy and vibrant sibling relationship would express. We do this, in part, by joining together in membership.
Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing of honour.
– Romans 12:10

Our meeting on Sept. 22 2025 was a town hall around the new vision for MBC that our Elders have discerned through prayer and careful consideration.

In short, we want to follow our rich church tradition by taking the conviction and transforming power of God’s living Word seriously. Those convictions have caused and sustained at MBC more than 100 years of faithful service to the Lord in meaningful Gospel ministry to our community, and we want to do even more. God has grown this church bringing in young men and women who have been called to Gospel ministry, and we believe MBC will be an outpost to train and educate effective servants to advance His Kingdom for His Glory.
